It is the general belief of Midtown Muse publication that Midtown Tallahassee is a unique and special place, with a high level of talent, culture & entertainment. Midtown Muse is here to promote businesses in Tallahassee. Midtown Muse aims to keep the art, music, food and beverage industries alive and thriving by connecting the residents, patrons, and providing a stronger support system.
The primary purpose of Midtown Muse’s Summer ‘08 issue is to promote the 4th annual Jazz & Blues Fest that is hosted by the Midtown Merchants Association (MMA). This event takes place Sat., June 7th, once again, under the oaks of historic Goodwood Museum from 5-10 pm. Local Blues guitar prodigy, Rick Lollar will headline, preceded by Jazz guitarist, Barry Greene. Food is catered by Midtown Tallahassee’s Fusion Cafe. Beverages are provided by Tri-Eagle Sales and the Wine Bar. Part of the event’s proceeds will benefit Lee’s Place - A Grief & Loss Counseling Center, located at Lake Ella.
The Midtown Muse publication is directly mailed to Midtown addresses, Summerbrooke & Ox Bottom addresses, and hand-distributed in public gathering places in Tallahassee’s Midtown.
